Girl Scout Statues

This page is dedicated to the larger Girl Scout statues, generally speaking - they're not going to move anytime soon. They may be outdoors in public areas or smaller items - but on a mostly permanent display - say - in a museum.

This postcard image is titled "Guarding the Girl Scout Emblem." It was a bronze figure designed by Kaspar Albrecht and was in the Waelderhaus, the Girl Scout House in Kohler, WI.

Although called the Girl Scout House, apparently it was more of a community center for the Kohler. Today the building has free tours.

I don't know if the statue remains.

This statue in Japan celebrated the friendship between the Girl Scouts of Japan and the Girl Scouts of the USA.

Some online photos shows that maybe the statue has been cleaned and the greenish look is gone.
