This 1934F GS catalog shows that the sheath had the wording "Girl Scouts" on it.

The trefoil was in gold!

1935
No axes were offered during 1942-1943 due to metal shortage of World War II. Starting in 1944 this axe was offered. It didn't have the Girl Scout mark on it or the sheath. However, the handle was dyed green.
