The Girl Scout Toothbrushes

Although toothbrushes were a part of early Girl Scout "Toiletry Sets", there is nothing to indicate that they were branded with the Girl Scout logo.

What we learn from this 1975 article:

Brushing your teeth can be dangerous.

Only 1,601 were recalled. Why so few? They must have sold thousands.

Only the Brownie version was recalled.

The tooth brushes were made by Pro-Brush Division of Vistron Corp., of Maine.

1979 - the Contemporary Logo appears

1980 - the wording of "Girl Scouts' is visible in the GS catalog image. I suspect it's also on the 1979 tooth brush as well, but just didn't show up in the catalog image.
