The Brownie Scatter Pin

has two versions;

Version 1 was sold in a set of two, no orange on the chest.- 1961

Version 2 was sold singly, has orange on the chest. - 1966

Name Changed to Dancing Elf Pin

Before the Daisy Girl Scout program was officially launched in 1984, Girl Scouting ran testing programs for this age group in many areas. Donna Crowe of Fenton, Missouri reports that their group used this pin as a membership pin for the "Pixie" testing group of 1st graders at Our Savior Lutheran School.

This pin is very similar to the one offered in 1978, but lacks the trefoil on the sleeve and on the center of the t-shirt.
