American Girl Covers 1920-1931

The American Girl magazine was the Girl Scout's magazine for the girls. Starting in June of 1920, Girl Scouting was certainly mentioned in every issue but the main focus was to present girls with a variety of suitable reading material in an age of no internet, no tv and no radio.

It is interesting to study how the style of the covers of the American Girl magazine change throughout the years, reflecting trends of different eras.
