Girl Scout Specialty Charms

I love charms - the sound of a bracelet full of charms and memories is something I cherish. However, not all Girl Scout charms were sold in the catalogs. Some were produced for Gir Scout events, such as the Senior Roundups, others were created for well-known Girl Scout landmarks, such as the Birthplace or Rockwood. Here's a collection of those Girl Scout-related charms.

This little Sterling silver charm is just over 1/2" with enameled image of "Juliette Gordon Low Birthplace" in "Savannah, GA." No mention of Girl Scouting, but we know. The birthplace officially opened in 1956, so it's no older than that. These type of shield-shaped travel charms were very popular in the 1950's - 1960's.

These birthplace charms are more modern. The gold tone and silver tone charms on top are 3/4" and the round charm is 7/8." The round one was available in the early 2000's.

These two WAGGGS charms are also small, just over 1/2." No markings on the back, so likely just silver and gold tone metals.
