The Golden Eaglet Marigold

gargemarigold.jpg

How exciting - a "new" Girl Scout flower was offered in 1936 through the Peter Henderson and Company seed catalog - the Girl Scout Golden Eaglet Marigold. It was shown at the International Flower Show in New York in the Spring of 1936. I stumbled across this information while researching the Golden Eaglet.
Wow - I had no idea it ever existed.
